Hi,
Vicodin, like most other opiate-drugs do have an addiction potential and when stopped abruptly will have a set of withdrawal symptoms. So it should slowly be tapered to a minimal dose and then stopped. Though it is not life threatening, they might make it pretty uncomfortable for a period. The best advise would be to consult with your physician and start tapering it slowly which should make the symptoms very bearable.
