Will Fish Oil 1000 Mg Leads To Nose Bleed?

My husband started having nosebleeds esp in night age 62 taking Asa 81mg and fish oil 1000 mg 2 tablets daily can fish oil cause nosebleeds? Left side nares is swollen bright red bleeding with nose bleeding had 2 episodes where blood just started to drip from left side of nose suggestions?

common side effect of fish oil is bleeding from nose. you are getting red swollen nose with bleeding is due to taking fish oil.fish oil contains omega 3-fatty acid which affects platelet and clotting time.
fish oil reduces cholesterol, that's why it is taken to reduce chance of MI and stroke.
treatment is lean forward and pinch your nose for 5-10 minutes to stop the bleeding. you can use decongestant nasal spray.if bleeding is continues, then immediately consult a doctor.
