Will Fibrous Diet Help To Control Blood In Bowel Movements?

I recently started taking vyvanse, probably a week ago, and i've had three bowel movements since, the first was normal, and the other two, caused there to be blood on the toilet paper and kind of turned the toilet water red. it was bright red and not in the stool. Ive looked up things about it, and found that many people have the same problem when using stimulant drugs. all the people said that it would go away with added fiber and drinking more water because the bleeding is caused from constipation, so water and fiber should prevent it. is this a good solution?
