hi I am wondering if endometrial casts can cause infertility. I abruptly stopped using my nuva ring. On the first day of my period I have had incredibly horrible cramps and I pass something that is large, pink, and resembles a large chunk of tissue. This has happened before after the same situation. I also am not always on the nuva ring. I only use it when my husband is visiting (right now we do long distance). I will use it to skip periods when he is here and then I will pull it out when I dont need it. Is there a high chance that I could become not fertile because of this
Hello, What you are doing is not right. You are meddling with your system's hormones randomly and this can result in permanent hormone imbalances later. This can, in turn, lead to infertility problems. It would be better if you can use regular contraception, even though you stay away from your husband. This is to ensure a proper hormone balance. Thus, spontaneous ovulation can be resumed once you stop the contraception. You can also skip periods if you wish by using the pills. Hope this helps.
