Will Eltroxin Help To Reduce Chronic Pain Syndron And Sleep Apnea?
Hello,i am 34 yrs 6 foot was 292 pds. old male,i was diagnose with chronic pain syndrom and severe sleep apnea..Last year the doc had given me pills for iron took them for several month and things got better...Six months ago got really sick with and was adding alot of weight,so doc decide to have blood test and gave me eltroxin 100 mcg per day...He told me that it would help my weight,fatigue and lack of energy...It did help weight loss 40 pds already but the rest is not working.....Is this normal or should i ask for more test to be done....

Eltroxin should be given only and only if you have Thyroid disorder.
Your doctor has started you on high dose of Eltroxin.
I suppose he must have got you tested and you must be suffering from hypothyroidism.
In case you are suffering from it, then Eltroxin would help you.
Else you should stop it immediately.
Tell me since how long you are taking the medicines.
In case you are taking them for long, you would require re evaluation of thyroid.
