Will Duphaston Have Any Side Effects On Fetus?

im 11 weeks pregnant i took duphaston 10mg from my 6th months up to now because i overlooked by doctors prescription. i just have to take it 3x a day for 7days only. pls help me, would it have a side effect to my baby? am i overdose with this duphaston? pls help..im really worried. thank u god bless.

Welcome to HCM and thanks for asking your question. I would like to tell you that duphaston is given in early pregnancy to sustain pregnancy and it prevents any chances of spontaneous abortion.
I would also like to suggest you that you should take only one tablet daily and it is sufficient enough to maintain pregnancy.
Coming back to your another query, duphaston will not have any effect on growing fetus, so you can safely take this.
So don't get worried and be tension free and enjoy the feeling of pregnancy. Best wishes and best of luck.
