hello im 22 years of age and during my first UA i got plenty of pus then after 1 week of water therapy the result showed 10-15 which is still not normal. I read in an article that tea can increase the risk of having pus in the urine, is its true? Recently i love drinking green tea, should i stop drinking tea now? What else should i do? Thanks
Hi, dear I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. No your pus cell in urine is not related with teat. Drinking tea does not leads to pus in urine. SO don't worry about that. You should go for culture and sensitivity testing and then take antibiotics accordingly. It will cure your urinary tract infection. Levofloxacin or norfloxacin can be used. You should also check your blood sugar. Because diabetes is the most common cause of frequent urinary tract infection. Consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
