Will Cyst Cause Pain And Pregnancy Complications?

hi doctor im 5 weeks pregnant now. from the starting itself i am having severe stomach pain in left abdomen which last for few minutes. mostly it happens in night time. i also have fibriod and right ovarian cyst (measuring 4cm). my gynic says the pain is due to cyst. is it so? Will there be any problem with my pregnancy due to this cyst?

Thanks for posting on HCM
Association of cyst in ovaries & also fibroids can sometimes cause pain - depending on the size of the cyst & location & size of the fibroid
I suggest it will need close monitoring by doing USS at least 6 weekly to know the progression of cyst & also of the fibroid
AS long as cyst is not rapidly growing - it should not cause any major pregnancy complications.
Hope this helps
