Will Consuming Uncooked Rice Cause Food Poisoning?

hi, i made some rice for dinner, the same way as always. as i was eating it though i noticed it did not seem as cooked as normal, it wasn't as soft, some pieces maybe a little hard. will i be ill? i know rice can cause food poisoning due to bacteria on it.

Dear Patient there is no cause to worry as partially cooked rice can not cause food poisoning. Rice and all other foods when cooked and left unattended at room temperature may grow bacteria, but if consumed in time even partially cooked rice is safe.
