My husband had a circumcision (due to phimosis) just over 4 weeks' ago. We had sex for the first time since the operation 4 days ago. My husband is not experiencing any discomfort. I recently commenced a course of Clarythromycin for a throat infection. I have experienced some side effects (metallic/bitter taste in mouth, nausea and dizziness) and note from the leaflet another side effect is thrush. I do not have any symptoms or indicators of thrush but am concerned if I do get it how this will affect my husband, as I feel 4 weeks is still fairly early days in post-operative terms for recovery.
