Will Cancer Cause Swollen Saliva Glands?

hi, my mom had died with stage 4 cancer. The cancer has spread to her right lung, her spine, her pelvis, and it caused a blood clot on her right leg. I just wanted to know that one week before she died, her saliva gland was very swollen. Do you think that it got swollen because of the cancer

Hi. I am very sorry to hear about the demise of your mother. The swelling in salivary glands can be due to cancer, infection, inflammation or other causes. Although spread of cancer to salivary gland is not that common. Hope I have answered your query.
