You need to undergo evaluation to find out the causes for non healing of the corneal ulcer. The common causes for non healing of a corneal ulcer are persistence of infection, local predisposing conditions like chronic dacryocystitis or chronic blepharitis, systemic conditions like diabetes, decreased immunity.... Amniotic membrane graft taken from umblical cord is better option if it is only surface healing problem. It works quiet good in these surface healing problems.
