Will alcohol make your heart speed up or slow down or nothing at all ?

will alcohol make your heart speed up or slow down or nothing at all? because i have a heart disease and i can t have anything that speeds up my heart (like lots of coffie, sugar or chocolate). and so far have i had about a fourth cup of vodka with limeade. and a sip of my friends kalulah. will i die?

No, you won't. Alcohol is a nervous system depressant - it makes things slow down. Kaluah has caffeine in it (which is what gives it it's coffee flavor) but it still has alcohol in it. With a heart condition you shouldn't be drinking at all because it can interefere with your cardiac medications. Now THAT combination could be harming to your body (although it won't kill you unless you're drinking in excess.
