Will A Tongue Tie In My 5 Days Daughter Affect Her Speech Later?
My daughter was just born and is only 5 days old. Today at her first routine checkup we were told she has tongue tie? The Dr. also told us that they would "clip" it next Friday at her next appt. My question is, will this affect her speech later in life or will this allow her to speak normally.

Hi....actually it will help. But there's no urgency to do it at such a young age. You can weight till she's 6 months old and starts cooing....or even till one year. But it will definitely help in appropriate language development. Happy to help anytime...if my answer he helped you...kindly rate it.
