Will A Shot Of Cortisone Help In Curing Bursitis In Thigh And Hip Area?
Dealing with bursitus in the thigh and hip area for about the last six months. Physical therapy doesn t seem to solve this. Did experience some relief while cruising and took advantage of a hydo pool at body temperature for about 10 days and it did help but returned after arriving home. Experience pain during sleep that will wake me up. Would a shot of cortiszone help?

Here infection need to be ruled out because bursitis could be due to bacterial infection may be very likely and this is advisable to have antibiotic for better result and the best option would be Tab Doxycycline 100 mg once in day for 10 days, antianalgesic may be continued along with this, have a nice day.
