Will A Scar Tissue Lead To Complications In Pregnancy?

my daughter had a leep procedure 12 years ago when she had her first child the dr had to massage the scar tissue during labor because she stopped dilating at 3 cm after he did this she went to 10cm in less than 10 min. she is expecting her second child how likely is it that the scar tissue will cause problems again?

Hi. Scar tissue can cause problem again and there may be more fibrosis by now. It would have been better if she got herself evaluated before conceiving.But for now it will depend upon the local ex. by her dr. and assessing the cervical changes. At what period of gestation she is now. If it is early pregnancy,then she should also watch for any chances of cervical incompetence.Actual picture can be predicted during labour only and considering other factors as well.
