Will Zevit And Calcium Sandoz Cause Any Problems During Pregnancy?
Hello Doctor, My wife is 29 years and we are not sure if she is pregnant. today is 31st day with no menses. I am worried about the pre natal dosage. She has been taking Zevit and cacium sandoz for women for the last 2-3 months. I want to know some iron and DHA supplement too that is good for her. Is it ok to continue with these supplements?

In pregnancy, Iron and folic acid supplements along with vitamins, especially Vit D and Calcium are strongly recommended. They cause no side effects.
Brand names of the supplements can be taken fro your area from a local pharmacy / doctor, as they are all different.
Confirm pregnancy with a home-kit for urine testing, It is essential to confirm and get to a doctor as at age of 29 yrs. pregnancy needs extra care. Also please add folic acid at 5 mgm per day, which protects the baby from congenital deformities.
