Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
The reason for the anemia may be the iliostomy, enlarged spleen, or some other common causes like colitis, anchylostoma duodinale worms in the intestine, or malnutrition etc.
You can have the removal of the spleen, still you should follow some other common treatments.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms albendazole, ofloxacin, ornidazole, and ranitidine.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
