Will I Be Protected While On Microgynon Or Cilest?

Hello,

I was on Microgynon and switched to Cilest. The doctor told me there would be no problems swtiching so I started taking cilest but it made me ill so I have gone back to microgynon with no break. Is there any need to use another form of contraception or will I be protected?

Hello,

No need for any additional contraceptive pills. You can use Cilest or Microgynon interchangeably. It won’t results in contraceptive failure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
