Will HIV Drugs Usage Have Side Effects?
hello,am 25 , female was diagonised of hiv few mnths back.
I am actually scared of using the drugs because I believe they will def have side effects. I am using black seeds and trying to take lots of fruits and also keeping healthy as much as i can

If I am your treating doctor I advice you that there is a dictum said " once HIV always HIV". You can live healthy life by taking the Anti Retro Viral Therapy or anti HIV drugs only. There is definately a side effect of the drug, but you have to adapt to the side effect of the drug. Without drug the disesase comes over to you and you will be manifested with wide variety of secondary infection. I advice you to take drug and also a regularly. you can continue with black seed and also a fruits but taking the ART is much important.

HIV drugs do have side effects. Some are mild and some are severe. In case of severe side effects, the drugs can be changed. Refusing to take drugs because of the fear of side effects will cause you more harm than good. Black seeds and fruits might be good for your health but to the best of my knowledge, they would not stop the virus from multiplying. I would advise you see a counselor for more information and start taking treatment if you are eligible for it.
