Wife Is Pregnant. Advised Folic Acid, Miprogen. Are The Medicines Safe?

Hi doctor,
My wife is now pregnant for 2 month now and his age is 27 years its the first-time pregnant we will go to doctor on 21.08.2013 they take the scan and give folic acid tablet for one month and miprogen for 15 days daily 2 tablet its safe to take the tablets pls answer for my question?

Yes, both the medicine safe during pregnancy.
Folic acid helps in neurological development of baby and use in first trimester of pregnancy and miprogen contained progesterone which support placental development of baby.
So please do not worry and use both medicine at there time and enjoy your motherhood.
Please go for regular check- up to your gynaecologist.

both medicines you mentioned are safe and i would suggest correct for pregnancy as they are required for appropriate growth and development of you child.. so please take them as prescribed by your doctor and please do any changes in your prescription only after consulting you gynecologist....
