Why Would I Still Feel Lightheaded After Upper Endoscopy?

Hi Dr., I had an upper endoscopy three days ago and am still feeling lightheaded and irritable. I have no signs of bleeding/hypoxia, no blood in stools, and am not tachy. I m on no new medication. I m concerned why I would still feel lightheaded 3 days post endoscopy. Thanks so much, B

Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of having upper GI Endoscopy 3 days back. You are still feeling light headed and irritable in spite of no other symptoms of bleeding, hypoxia, no blood in stool, no tachycardia and not on new medications.
Well, there actually may not be any reason of doing Upper GI Endoscopy and having heaviness head or getting irritable.
You will have to do the following:
Consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations of the blood and stool to see for the reasons for your symptoms. Once found take the proper medications to get well; please remember Upper GI Endoscopy can not give such symptoms.
