Why Was I Prescribed Augmentin, Primolut Injection For Missed Period, Kidney Pains?
My wife has kidney pains and has missed her period two consecutive months. Her doctor has prescribed a pill named Augmentin, and a Primolut depot injection. Can you help me understand what might be causing this pain and miss in period, and also are these the correct prescriptions?
I think that I would suggest you to have a thyroid profile test and prolactin test done as thyroid abnormality can lead to these symptoms. Start Medroxyprogesterone tablet 10 mg for 10 days for starting your periods, and do an urgent ultrasound examination of the lower abdomen.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
