Why Was I Feeling Lightheadedness Before Periods And Large Clots During Periods?

This month two days before my period I felt very light headed and floaty, if I moved around too much I felt very sick and at times found myself retching! When I came on I found large clots in the blood, I have experienced small dots of clots before but these were much larger Is there anything to be concerned about?

Hi.

I 've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.

Heavy blood flow with unusually large clots may be due to hormonal changes, Intra uterine devices, & also due to diseases like Fibroids & many other conditions.

You have to assess the flow of blood by counting the no.of pads your are changing per day. If it's morethan normal, you need consult a gynaecologist for further assistance.

Take tab. Mefenamic acid thrice daily.
Take plenty of fluids.
