Hi,
Breast tenderness before menses is common and is due to certain hormonal deficiency. Such pains disappears after periods are over to again reappear before next period. So persistent pain in breast after periods are over definitely indicates some muscle strain possibly due to over exercising. Such pain would go with pain pills over the counter like Ibugesic 400mg after food twice a day for a couple of days.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
