Why There Is Redness And Pain On My Eyelid?

Hi, I have a little bit of redness and pain on my eyelid. I have gone to a doctor and she said that it is a stye however the Chlorsig ointment has not helped and it has been around 2 weeks. Today I saw a pharmacist and he said that I should just apply heat to it. What do you think it is?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having redness and pain in the eyelid as a result of inflammatory swelling involving the glands of the eyelid called as stye. It is because of infection of the gland of Zeis of the eyelid.
The treatment is by use of hot compression and use of antibiotic eye ointment and anti-inflammatory drugs.
Hence you need to use antibioitc eye ointment and do hot compression for better symptomatic relief.

Thank you
