Why there is increase in BP after food with history of SVT?
I just finished lunch and my blood pressure is 139 over 101, pulse is 101 my weight is 265 and i am 5'3". I have high blood pressure but took my meds last night as prescribed. I am diabetic and I took the medicine about 30 minutes before lunch. I have a history of SVT.
There is a physiological raise of blood pressure and heart rate just after eating, so it is recommended to mesure blood pressure at least 30 min after the meal. And my advice also will be to lose weight. It will decrease your blood pressure and heart rate additionally.
I hope I could answer to your question.
