i badly bruised my leg at the front approx 4inches above my ankle a wk ago i had it xrayed but nothing was broken a week latter i have a lot of bruising on my ankle and side of foot is this normal? also some swelling and the leg has been more painfull for the last 24hours hope u can give me an answere thanksn
As post-injury, there are expectations of the swelling due to inflammation of the muscular system and with icing, the swelling will come down. It is good there isn't any fracture so the healing time will be shorter.
Using icing, crepe bandage and simple ankle toe movements will help reduce swelling and regain muscle property of contract-relax.
