Why There Are Multiple Miscarriages Before Six Weeks With No Foetal Heart Beat?

Hai doctor! I have a 7 yr old boy and I had 3 consequent miscarriages for past 3 yrs. everything before 6 weeks. The growth stopped before 6 weeks there is no heart beat. After that doctor prescribed some blood works everything was normal except there was a problem in mthfr. So she prescribed to take frolic acid and prenatal vitamins and I've been taking for 2 months. I have prob in ovulation so I took clomid also.... We tried to get conceive this month but I'm little bit worried whether this time everything will go without any problem? Please answer my query and give some hope in my life....

Hi there thanks for posting your query at HCM
mthfr is an enzyme that stands for methyl tetra hydrofolate reductase
This enzyme is useful in the sythesyss of thymidine and certain important cellular reactions which are indispensable for survival
In the case of pregnancy their deficiency results in the formation of a clot that may prevent the transfer of nutrients to the fetus resulting in early fetal death
In addition deficiency of this enzyme has a genetic basis
So I suggest you continue taking the medicine and refer to your doctor regularly to prevent any mishappening again
Wishing all the best
Take care
