Why The Stomach Is Swollen, hurting And Harder Than Usual?
I got dizzy after just working normally in class on a project I am now finished with, but about 5 minutes after quitting the work and just relaxing I got some pain in my stomach. My stomach is a bit swollen, hurts and is harder than usual. usually it is really soft, but now it is hard.
Hi. Thanks for your query, albeit short and specific. Noted the history and understood the concerns.Swollen, painful and harder stomach after work and an attack of dizziness indicate that you might have intestinal infection, which caused septicemia and hence the dizziness. I would advise you the following in such a situation: Get a proper clinical evaluation and examination by a Doctor and investigations of the stool and stool if loose motion occur. This will give tentative diagnosis and hence a plan for management which may be in the form of an antibiotic, metronidazole, probiotics and supportive and symptomatic medicines such a PPI like Omeprazole, antispasmodic. Plenty of oral fluids of no nausea or vomiting. Boiled and cooled water only. Homemade cooked food. Avoid oily and spicy foods.
