Why The Pregnancy Test Came False Positive?

Hi, I am taking Effexor 75mg nocte I also was taking Doxycycline 100mg but finished the course just before/ just after xmas. I have just taken a pregnancy test which has come up positive I wa wondering I either if these medications could cause a false positive as I have severe PCOS, adenomiosis and endometriosis
