Why Should A Chest X-ray Be Repeated?
I recently had an x-ray and the radiologist wants me to get rechecked in a few months with different angles. My dr. was not available today to discuss but I do have asthma. My chest and back have been sore and when I take a deep breath i m sore. Why do you think a radiologist would want me to get re-checked in a few months?

If you are having asthma than spirometry more helpful in comparison with chest x ray.
Provide me your x ray report so that I comment why repeat x ray is advised to you.
For acute asthma attack sos Salbutamol inhaler can be prescribed
For repeated asthma attack maintaince formeterol inhaler prescribed
