Why Passed Memory Test But Failed Balance Test After Hitting Head?

while playing football today I was hit hard and went down I was dizzy, had headache and tingling in hands my trainer says it was a possible minor concussion he gave me two exams one was a balance test which i failed the other a memory test which i passed any thoughts a half hour my symptoms subsided i have had no nausea or vomiting

I understand your concern and would explain that it is important to have some balance problems after a head concussion. There is nothing to worry about. They are related to the temporary brain dysfunction caused by the head trauma.

I recommend have some bed rest and avoiding a possible repeated head trauma for some days.

You can use acetaminophen or ibuprofen for the pain.
