Why No Labor Even After 2 Cm Dilation And Pressure On Cervix ?
I am 36 weeks pregnant and 2 cm dilated,with no contractions just pressure on my cervix even though my cervix is still quite thick, my doctor said if I can self induce then I can. Could you tell me how I can start my labor quicker so I don't have to be induced

If you are just 36 weeks, i will advise you to wait till you complete 37 weeks. There is nothing you can do to self induce at this point. Until the baby's head is well applied to the cervix, labour wont start. After 37 weeks, dinoprostone gel can be used to induced.
