Why Leg Is Swollen With Black Ankles And Discoloration On Back Of Knees?

I fell inside on carpeting and immediately got a bump on my knee. This was a week ago. Since then, my ankles have turned black and blue and there is discoloration on the back of my knees. My entire leg is very swollen and warm to the touch. Should I see my doctor?

It looks to me that you had injured your knee and ankle badly. No need to rush to your doctor though. Following points i want you to suggest.
1. Apply ice to knee and ankle
2. Also apply compression bandage
3. Take Brufen or Diclofenec tab daily
4. Do not stand for long time.
