Why Isn T Generic Brand Of The Medicine, Tussionex, For Pneumonia Equally Effective?
I have been prescribed Tussionez for my Pheumona. I obtained a bottle of that was not brand and it was not the same and did not work. CVS gave me what they had left of Brand for a couple of days and it is exactly the same as generic. The pharmacist told me sometimes they send in generic in Brand bottle because its the same. Is this true, and why doenst the generic work. Has the brand been discontinued?

Tussionez is brand medicine containing chloropheniramine and hydrocodone.
Whether Generic or Brand, both serve the same purpose.
It may not work if it is out dated or quite near to expiry date.
