Why Is There Pain I The Ribs After Smoking Weed ?

my boyfriend gets a pain in his left ribs after smoking weed. He is 31 years old, 6 1 and around 250lbs. He also has asthma . I cant really get a good answer from looking it up on the internet. Can someone please help me find out what is causing this.

Hi Ashley,

Welcome to HCM.
Smoking weed is not advisable as it has many side effects and is against law.
Since your boy friend is already a known asthmatic, smoking is certainly not for him as it will worsen the situation and cause him much harm.
Ask him to consult a pulmonologist and get a chest x-ray and blood tests done and if indicated CT or MRI scan to find out the cause for his chest pain.
