Why Is There A Dark Blueish Patch Under My Toe Nail ? Will It Grow And If Is Any Surgery Needed ?
About four weeks ago I dropped a heavy tin on my big toe . At the time there was a slightly dark bruise under the nail and I remember putting ice cubes around the toe to help relieve the pain. Theres no pain now but theres a dark blueish patch under most of the toe nail. Will this grow out or do I have to have some sort of surgery? - (I am 53 years old male, about 5ft 10 , about 77 kg weight and in good health no medications) - thanks

You have blood collected under the nail.
Go to your doctor and get the blood removed and do dressing.
if you fail to do so nail will be removed and chance of infection will be there.
