Why Is The Pain In Lower Abdomen And Bleeding During The Third Week Of Pregnancy?
Hi,
My date was due on 6january but when I checked at home after 3 days the result came positive ...I was contineously having discharge problem but after 8 days I noticed blood in the mucus when I wipe with tissue paper next day I went to doctor and she said not to worry she asked for betaHCG and in that it was 450 and according to ultrasound I was 3weeks pregnant she gave me duphaston and no-spa .....and during this I was on and off releasing pinkish and reddish water like mucus .....she gave me injection of fertic 5000 I.v ......and said not to worry and suggested me to do tvs ultrasound after that ultrasound of tvs I was feeling pain in lower abdomen lots of gases bleeding sometimes brown ,yellow and red after 2 days not feeling much pain or cramp but when I pee I saw cloth , tissues and 2 times clot and blood in urine which is gradually decreasing ......I have to go to visit doctor after 2 days...is everything will be ok ...I m tensed

As per your symptoms it looks as though all is not well with your pregnancy. I am sorry to say, but, seeing tissue discharge associated with pain and bleeding goes in favor of an abortion. As of now, please wait for the results of the next sonogram and your doctor's opinion and take absolute bed rest avoiding all strenuous activity including intercourse. If viability of the pregnancy is doubtful, it may be assessed by serial serum beta-hCG titres coupled with trans-vaginal sonogram; doubling titres every 2-3 days signify good prognosis.
