Why Is The Knee Swollen And Sore After Giving The Injection Synvise-one To The Knee?
How often can I get injection of Synvisc- One ? After unsuccessful Arthroscopy procedure in March 2013 (I had torn meniscus) my knee is bone on bone and my doctor can t explain me why it happened. Since then he injected Synvisc-One tree times and non of them worked . After the last injection on 12/12/13 I have a severe pain in my knee and a big swollenness in the spot where Synvisc-One was injected. He can t give me the clear answer and keep saying; it ll go away .Is there a possibility that he injected the substance in a wrong spot ,if yes can it cause a big problem? .Should I be concern about and go to see another doctor? After the injection of the knee joint lubricant, there can be an immediate swelling and pain in the knee due to the volume of the injection or a local reaction. This usually subsides in 5-7 days and the relief starts.
