Hello and welcome,

Please do not worry so much. Breech deliveries are very common and 3-4% of babies are breech. We still do not know the exact reason for this but issues of the birth canal or amniotic fluid may be involved.

These babies are just like other babies. In a few cases the limbs may remain curled up in the intrauterine position for a few days after birth but later they assume thier normal position. A few exercises after birth help in restoring this position and your pediatricians will help you with this. We also do an anomaly scan in such pregnancies as the risk of anomalies is marginally higher in breech babies but this may have already been done in your case. So discuss this with your doctor.
Please do not worry. All my good wishes are with you for a safe delivery and a healthy baby. Take care.
Hope this satisfies your query.
