Why Is My Urine Brown In Color Especially In The Morning?

My urine is usually a dark yellow first thing in the morning and then lightens during the day as I drink water.I had my gall bladder removed 1.5 weeks ago. Starting yesterday, my urine is now brown first thing in the morning and goes yellow during the day. I am still nausaeous all the time. Should I see my GP or go to the hospital?

Hello,

The brown urine in the morning comes because the urine is more concentrated in the mornings because you don't take fluids at night.
During the day you urinate more frequently because you have more fluids.
I think you can visit a GP to do a normal check up but this darker urine in mornings is not a cause of concern.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
