Why Is My Impacted Left Canine Tooth Not Growing?

i have an impacted left canine tooth i had braces previously and the ortho said the tooth would grow in....but that was 3 years ago haha and it still hasnt grown in.. i am a senior in high school and i have a huge gap in that spot and i am reallly self concious of it.... the rest of my teeth are perfect and straight i just need a tooth and i dont want braces again. Is there a way i can get a fake tooth with the impacted tooth still in my gums? what is the best soloution?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The impacted canine fails to erupt if there are any obstacles in the path of its eruption like bone, odontome or soft tissue.
Since you are telling, you have already taken braces, it should have been corrected at that time only.
Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and take a radiogaph like IOPAR and occlusal radiograph to rule out the above said causes.
If any obstacles are there, then it has to be surgically removed and then the tooth has to be moved into the space between lateral incisor and 1st premolar by braces.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.

according to me you should go for orthodontic treatment again forget about your previous experience. go for one radiograph called OPG that will tell you where ur caniene is.
you can always go for a fake tooth.
first go for extraction of ur Impacted caniene the for replacement you have choice between Implant or bridge
