Why Is My Daughters Eye Not Blinking Often?

Hello I am a mother of a 1/12 year old girl. I am also a Medical Assistant. My daughter seems to be blinking hard o and off for about two weeks, She is not rubbing her eye or making it seem like its irritated it not red and no tearing.
No other health problems.

Hello
It seems from the history that your daughter is blinking her eyes often. This can be because of inflammation of the eyes commonly because of allergies. Since she is not having redness or watering of the eyes, refractive error needs to be ruled out.
Blinking can be seen as a part of refractive error as the patient tries to see clearly by squeezing the eyes. Hence I advice you to get vision checked by a ophthalmologist or by a optometrist to rule out refractive error.
