Why Is My Daughter Getting Fever Frequently ?

hello sir my 2.3 yrs daughter had a viral fever 15days back.now once again she got fever of 102/03 .she is taking calpol n taximo.why is she getting fever fequently.

hello,
recurrent fever is due to persistence of infection or in adequate treatment.
frequent relapsing fever is seen in condititons like malaria.
if you are living in an endemic region i would advise you to consult a physician and get a complete blood work up done including for malaria and dengue.
look out for any wound which might be infected.
if the fever is very high give her tepid sponging. continue the medications till you meet your physician.
