General & Family Physician Dr. Sumanth.P's  Response

Thanks for posting your query.

It could be Vaginismus.
A condition of involuntary tightness of pelvic floor muscles on attempting intercourse.
Yours would be secondary vaginismus since you already have a kid.
Causes of secondary Vaginismus are Traumatic event, child birth, surgery, Vaginal infection or psychological.
So treatment would focus on the cause.
It is treatable in all the ways.

Hope I have answered your query.

Wishing you good health.

General & Family Physician Dr. Dhananjay's  Response
your are probably suffering from vaginismus. Here vaginal opening closes firmly during sexual intercourse. Its basically a psychological disorder, sometime may be due to urinary tract infection also. Bad sexual experience, anxiety, stress, pressure of sexual performance, fear of getting pregnant, sexual abuse etc are some of the causes of vaginismus. Talk to you partner, take him in to confidence, have a positive attitude towards your sexual life. Consider sexual act as most pleasurable one and as burden on body. consult your doctor to rule out any other causes.. take care..bye...
