Why Is Nexito Given To A Diabetic And Osteoporosis Patient?

Dear Sir,My mother in law has been given lesuride 25 mg thrice a day. SHe has been having it for around 6 months now. We are not sure what this drug is for. SHe also eats:1. Losar-H once a day2. Nexito 5 mg once a day3. Pioz MF 7.5 mg once a day She has osteoporosis and diabetes. But we are not sure what all these medicines are for.Please advise.Thanks,Sneha.

Lesuride is Levisulpride which usually gives as a pro-kinetic for dyspepsia and bowel motility problems.These problems are very common with diabetic patients.It is a safe drug.
Losar-H is a anti-Hypertensive(blood pressure) tablet.Active ingredients are Losartan and Hydrochlorothiazide.Good choice in diabetic patient.Losartan comes under the group called Angiotensin Receptor blocker and Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic.
Nexito 5 contains Escitalopram which is an antidepressant.
Pioz-MF contains pioglitazone and Metformin .Both are diabetic tablets.Pioglitazone should be used very carefully In view of pioglitazone...
