Why Is Gynemix Prescribed While Trying To Conceive?
Hello Doctor, I am 30 years old. Married 3 years ago. We are planning to have a baby. On my last medical check up, the doctor told me that I have PCOD.They have been suggested my folic acid, iron tablets, metformin and gynemix. Could you please let me know why gynemix is been suggested?

i can understand your concern. your doctor has rightly prescribed metformin for pcod. iron and folic acid for anemia. gynemix is an ayurvedic preparation for menstrual irregulaties. there is no scientific evidence for its effectiveness. none the less it has shown fo be effective in some women.if you have irregular periods and doesnot regularise after using the medications, i would suggest using hormonal pills for anfew cycles. this will help in balancing the hormones.
