Why Is Duphaston Prescribed During Pregnancy?

Hi, I was trying to conceive baby for 2.5 years, My period cycle was not regular so i was taking tablets so my cycle could be normal, i was taking Glucophage , folic acid, duphaston and progyloton for almost 2 months, then in 3rd month she gave my lezra, cerophene, progyloton, Glucophage and folic acid, after this i conceived, now Dr have again given me Glucophage and duphaston, so i am confused that duphaston was to make period cycle regular but y she have give me now? Please let me know should I take duphaston tablet or not ?
