Why Injections Are Preferred Instead Of Tablets In Warfarin?
My 85 yo mother has been a regular user of Warfarin for many years. She has recently been losing a blood and blood has been evident in her stools. She has been taken off Warfarin and is now on Clexane injections which she administers most days when i am not available to do so I guess the question is why injections instead of tablets? Are they more effective? She is covered in bruises from the injections and I was wondering how she is ggoing to cope in the long term with daily injections. Hope you can shed some light on this issue.
